We are excited to introduce our two newest dynamics utilities: DuckDuck and GOOSE.

We didn't build these to replace your comprehensive mastering suites. We built them because sometimes you just need to solve a dynamics problem now without menu-diving. We wanted a workflow that felt as simple as the schoolyard game: intuitive, immediate, and effective.

First: DuckDuck (The Instant Ducker)

DuckDuck is your dedicated volume ducker.

Sidechaining is essential—it’s how you make space for the kick, clean up the low end, or create that rhythmic "pumping" feel. But setting up complex sidechain routing in some DAWs can be a momentum killer in the middle of a creative session.

DuckDuck clears the way instantly. Whether you need a subtle dip to uncrowd a mix or a heavy rhythmic ducking effect, it handles the volume shaping efficiently so you can move on to the next idea.

Then: GOOSE (The Upward Compressor)

Once you’ve cleared the space, you need something to fill it.

GOOSE is a "single-dial" upward compressor. Unlike traditional compressors that squash loud peaks down, GOOSE finds the quiet details in your audio and brings them up.

A Nod to Studio History

The name isn't just a play on the game. In the days of analog consoles, engineers would say, "goose it!"

To "GOOSE" a track meant to aggressively push the fader up or crank the input gain to get more energy and presence out of a signal. It was slang for giving a sound a sudden boost of power.

Our GOOSE plugin honors that tradition, but with a modern twist. Instead of just cranking the volume (and clipping your master), it "gooses" the low-level details—bringing up the hidden energy in your audio without destroying your headroom.
