Kushview

Download Element

The options below grant access to downloads and updates in various ways. There is NO difference in the software downloaded. It's merely a matter of if and how often you want to get updates.

Patreon

Patreon has been replaced with the Membership option. However, if you still are subscribed, you still have the same access to development builds as before.

Migrate From Pro

If you have a legacy Element Pro license, it can be migrated. It is manual process, but fairly painless involving a 100% discount code. See explanation below

Element v0.46.6

Previous Versions

Public releases for Mac, PC and Linux can be found on GitHub. See the Element releases for the goods.

Free Software?

Certainly Element is free, as in free speech. According to GNU.org free software is:

“Free software” means software that respects users’ freedom and community. Roughly, it means that the users have the freedom to run, copy, distribute, study, change and improve the software. Thus, “free software” is a matter of liberty, not price. To understand the concept, you should think of “free” as in “free speech,” not as in “free beer.” We sometimes call it “libre software,” borrowing the French or Spanish word for “free” as in freedom, to show we do not mean the software is gratis.

You may have paid money to get copies of a free program, or you may have obtained copies at no charge. But regardless of how you got your copies, you always have the freedom to copy and change the software, even to sell copies.

Element Pro License Holders

To legeacy license holders of Element Pro: Perpetual means perpetual, contact support@kushview.net to get your old license migrated to the Continous option. The old site was hacked, targeted, and destroyed. I do not have a way to automatically do the migration. –MRF

Competitor Pricing

If you’re on the fence about supporting Kushview, consider what other apps want.

  1. GigPerformer: $169 (standard version)
  2. MainStage: Included with Logic Pro X ($199 for Logic Pro X)
  3. Live Performer: $50 to $200 (average: $125)
  4. Cantabile: $69 to $199 (average: $134)
  5. Bidule: $95 (standard version)

Now add up the individual average prices and divide by 5:

(169 + 199 + 125 + 134 + 95) / 5 = $144.40 (approximately)

Now ask yourself, which is the better host? Them or Element? Go with what suites your needs. But if it’s Element, and you want development to keep going, then finacial support is needed. Without it, I have to focus on client work and development can come to a screeching hault like it did from 2022 to 2023.
